I need to be exercised NOW - the sagittarius pet
August 30th 2007 07:46
This pet is so impatient!!
They have a mind that runs at 1,000 miles an hour and a body that can keep up with it, they needs heaps of freedom. They are the horse who plays in the paddock and runs about like a bit of a twit, or the dog in the park tearing around catching up with all his friends.
They live on nervous energy and this 'horse' need to be released in to the wider paddock, to feel the wind in their mane.
Their health weakness is their main bony structure, their circulation could also be a problem.
Regular doses of silica tissue salts with help with their skeletal issues, and hawthorn berries are a handy additive to their food.
Their Bach flowers are impatience, white chestnut and vervain.

Alpaca Notes - Tasmania
Whether sagittarius or not, it's amazing how many people don't consider the energy level of a dog before they buy/adopt.
Some people think the dog will make a great jogging partner. True, but what happens when you get sick of jogging? Dog still wants to run. The number of huge dogs being kept in tiny backyards is ridiculous.
We call ourselves the intelligent species, but some of the things we do really makes me wonder.
Cheers.

I used to live in the inner west of Sydney and it is amazing how many 'big' dogs are in little places. Most owners are fairly responsible and take their dogs to the park daily.
Same with the horses at Centennial Park (before the flu hit) the horses have to be exercised twice a day, its a big committment and one that is a lifestyle not a whim.
Have a good day !!
