More Adventures of Scuffy

How does a dog avoid being devoured by carnivorous horses?
Scuffy was not really sure in this situation and not comfortable at all with how these horses were eying her off, it was late afternoon and close to feed time and all she could do was hope these horses had not been fed any treats at the show jumping days. Some owners often shared their hamburgers or other naughty treats and she was hoping her owner would come back and rescue her before these horses had a chance to decide is she was hamburger meat or just a casual visitor passing through.
Today Scuffy was out visiting an old mate, True Red, as his stables in the city had been torn down and apartments had been placed over the arena and stables. He had moved to a property out at Arcadia and Scuffy did not see him as often as it was a longer drive from her home in Randwick and she had to rely on Lisa to take her with her.
She was getting a bit older by the time this pic was taken, so not as brave as she had been when she was a riding dog in Randwick. She had been placed here for her own safety from the property resident dogs as well as to prevent her getting stepped on accidently while Red was having his saddle and bridle put on.
Though you can see from the look on her face, she was very unsure of her safety.
