Sydney Dogs and Cats Home - Pet of the Week
When Barney first came to us we classified him as severely neglected; he was suffering from glaucoma so badly that one of his eyes had to be removed. However, Barney has recovered brilliantly and is the most delightful little chap possible! He is easy-going, sweet-natured and undemanding. Even though Barney is one of our Golden Oldies, with a considerably subsidised adoption fee, we don’t believe anyone should feel the need to “rescue” dear Barney because they feel sorry for him. Barney is just the most fantastic little dog, who is house trained, does not chase cats or birds; does not beg, bark or chew or shed hair and has absolutely no behaviour or personality 'issues'. He would be in heaven to be with one person to whom he can be devoted. And we think the person who adopts Barney will be very happy they did so!
Barney is a male Maltese cross of approximately 10 years of age
His adoption fee, as a Golden Oldie, is $150, which includes desexing, micro-chipping, worming, vaccination, heartworm testing, lifetime registration and vet checking.
